Iris walked casually down the street. Today's vic-- benefactors had been quite generous. Her pockets were full, and so was her stomach. There was a woman sitting on a box, holding a young boy who's hand was in her pocket. What an amateur. Only an idiot would try to steal from someone like that with such little skill. Still, the woman was not screaming 'thief', but instead holding a blade to the boy's neck and whispering. What was it this girl stood to lose by drawing a crowd? Ah, well. It didn't matter much. Iris didn't see any profit in bothering the girl. Maybe a talk, though. The boy could use the escape time. Iris reminisced about the first time she was caught.
Iris, not really sneaking, but not really conspicuous, walked up to the girl, and smiled...
"Well, now. You look like you're having fun, Young Miss."
