OOC: Please do not reply. Z and I would like this topic to be closed... Thank you! (thanks for the note Jadin)
Tiy sat on the edge of a rock and dangled her delicate feet in the water below. The cool water against her tired feet felt good. She looked up to see the moon's silver light shinning and reflecting on the lake before her. Over all, it was a peaceful night and in that peace, Tiy found time to think things over. Memory is a strange thing. It twists and manipulates what we think about and even what we do. Some of them are quite wonderful to think on, while others, one would wish they never had. In a sense, it controls who we are and what we are becoming if we let it.
Tiy's mind traveled back to when she was at her school, graduating 1st out of the top three in her class, and all ready going onto further education, three years before people in her class were. She smiled at the memory of earning her way into that school for just the best Male mages in the world, and she knew that it would be fun. She found herself, however, slipping self-esteem wise. She would try to find guys for love, even if it only lasted a couple of weeks. But one night, while she agreed to meet a Professor in a storage closet, she realised that she did not find very much enjoyment out of just men. But that women were also her thing.
A year later, she had been with her bi girlfriend for about 9 months. When one year rolled around, her grilfriend left. She was devistated and now she hasn't looked at another female since. Sure.. there were those girls that would beg for some kissing and such, and she'd do it, just to get them away. But now she was looking for a male: something different and probably exciting.
She was in her green dress that she wore around a lot of the time, and her black boots were tossed aside. She tied her hair up in a bun and sat there, staring at her feet, watching the guppies and tadpoles nibble helplessly at her feet. She smiled lightly, the first smile in a while. She had let Jez stay at home and she realized that she felt very alone without her big black wolf with her, but it was nice to not have to worry about him pouncing on any unsuspecting stranger...

Zeion was once more out and about the fact was he was always wondering around. Thanks mostly to the fact that the contracts coming in have been for nothign more than assisting knights on the field of battle and Zeion was not one for day time activities. He had found himself at the other side of the lake where the girl was he didn't even see her thanks to his cloak's hood covering his face. He kneed at the lake's shore pushed his hood back and dipped his face in to the cool water. He soon lifted his face fro the water. That was when he noticed the woman sitting on the other side.
Zeion was at first was thinking that she'd want some private time. Then he began to walk over to work her by going around the lake."Excuse me? Is everythign well?" He asked sort of concered after all it was never really good to be out at night unless you were used to it.
Zeion now stood nearby the girl about a yard away from her. Zeion had to admint from herthe girl was postivly radiant. She was very lovely indeed. Zeion stood by wearing his normal outfit he wore it during the night to hide from anyone or anythgin that would mean to do him harm. With his hood off the girl could possibly noticed his naturaly silver hair. He wondered what she would say to him.

Tiy heard some sounds across the way and noticed a man, about her age, kneeling beside the lake. She smiled and nodded to him, even though she figured he couldn't see her with his face in the water. She sighed silently and looked back down at all the small night water creatures that were still nipping at her toes and ankles. She suddenly envied them. How easy it was for them, swimming around all day and eating all night, and how little fears they had, where opposed to how many humans, elves, and lycans alike had.
She was about to stand to slip into the water when she heard footsteps coming closer. She looked over and saw the man with silver hair from the other side of the lake, walking towards her. He had a good build that showed he was strong, and fast, and silver hair to about his neck. She wondered what he would be doing all the way over here, although he could be a gentleman seeing if she had lost her way, she still wanted to know what he was thinking...
"Excuse me? Is everything well?"
She smiled lightly up at him, talking quietly, "Everything is fine, thank you... And how might you be this fantastic evening, my good sir?"
Feeling his eyes on her, she was slightly uncomfortable, but she didn't let it show. She expected it from what she was wearing, or as many would say: there lack-of. She kicked her feet gently in the water, making cool ripples that reflected the light of the moon and onto the scales of the small fish at her feet; but her eyes were on this new man that was polite enough to come see her.
"I'm Tiy. Mage and Professor. You may call me Ti, if you like." she offered a smile.

"Tiy that is a most uniuqe name. My name is Zeion. I am a mercenary. The night is good."Zeion said and then sat down and looked to the water. He placed his fingertip on the water's surface. He couldn't see if the fish were around at all. He didn't look back at her till he spoke again."So what brings a lovely woman here at this time of night?" He asked he just wanted to know after all things could happen to a person who was all alone. Zeion of course wouldn't harm anyone it was the creatures of the night he was worried about.
Zeion soon felt something on his finger it was just a small fish, but he noticed it and smiled. He never took the time to play with the fish perhaps he could finally try a trick he learn. He slowly opened his hand then decied not to try it. He looked back to the girl. He wondered what she was thinking of.
After all Zeion never got a chance to talk to a female before. They tended to find other people like knights or well anyone after all they didn't consider Zeion a 'great man' just a man with a job. He wondered about this one. Would she walk away after hearing his profession? Or would she stay and at least talk with him?

OOC: Nope just you Kina. You seem to never notice that most threads are over and done with. This thread however is active yet it is invite only. Yo, you double-posted! Sorry, I was just reading and found several double-posts by Mr. Zeion here. Meh, I'll let you off this time. And go easy on the hate thing, it's really creeping me out.

'Zeion...'
He said that her name was unique and she smiled at him. So was his. He also told her that he was a mercenary. She raised her brow, she had never met one before, but she had always been curious what that profession was really all about, how they lived and what exactly they did. She smiled to him and was glad to hear it was a good night for him too. She looked over as he let his hand dip in the water and she couldn't help but let out a small sigh. Sometimes, it seemed, that she was the only person she knew that took the time to just sit under the stars and play with the fishes and tadpoles. It looked like he had not done that before, or just not very often.
He asked what a lovely lady was doing out here and she smiled lightly, letting out a soft laugh that almost sounded like a coo of a dove. She questioned her own laugh, but looked him in the eyes and smiled brightly. "Well... I just moved to this Kingdom not to long ago. And moving is always a bit of a pain. So it's nice to just sit here and really find time to gather peace and peace of mind..."
She looked in the water and pulled out her feet, much to the fishes' dismay, "Oh... I'll be back another day," she told them gently. She looked over at the stranger again as she waved her hand in the air and pulled a blanket from no where. She draped it over her legs.
"And you, Zeion? May you tell me of your profession as a Mercenary? I've always wanted to know about them..." she questioned. She brought her knees up and crossed her arms around her torso, still looking at him, her eyes as bright as a child's during an exciting story.

Zeion was shocked no one asked about his job."Well my job is to take contracts and fulfill them in a set amount of time. However the term Mercenary is a person or persons. Who do anything for money." Zeion thought about his recent contacts."All of mine involve slaying bandits they have been attacking for months now but have not made a charge for the city yet. Who knows when the next contract will interest me." Zeion said and smiled toward her. Her laugh was cute maybe just maybe this girl will be open to talking with him more often.
Zeion wondered more and more about this girl."So you just moved in?" Zeion asked he would have said something further but it sounded like a bad thing to say right after that."I bet you have a nice place." Zeion said after a short stop to think. Zeion didn't know why, but the girl must really want to know a mercenary's life.
Zeion had to know more about this girl something about her intrigued him."Tell me more about yourself." Zeion just had to get to know her she was lovely and to him mysterious. He liked that about girls but some are more open than others. Tiy seemed to have that one quality that most girls are missing. He liked how she had a mysterious aura about her.

ooc: not much of a muse, but i shall try =)
As he described his job to her in a couple dozen words, Tiy found that she was liking the sound of it! Adventurer, almost, she'd call it. She smiled as he told her about it and then there was a moment of silence. She didn't know what exactly to say, so she thought for a minute. She nodded, indicating that she had heard him, but was thinking about it.
He asked about her just moving in and she nodded. He said she must have a nice place, and she laughed lightly. "Oh... it's not bad I suppose. A home away from home," she smiled gently, "But it will never be the same until I find some work, other than the Specialty School that I attended when I was so young..."
"Tell me more about yourself." saidZeion.
She smiled at him. "Not much to me. I'm a young mage, wise beyond my years. I love to have fun and I have a passion for teaching. Although... that doesn't sound as nearly as exciting as your job!" She laughed lightly. "No... But I do suppose being the only female in a Mage Specialty School gives my life a little adventure..." she laughed, smiling at him.

Zeion listened to Tiy tell him about herslef he had to admit he was impressed. Zeion knew about that schools very high standerds."Well I will admit good job every mercenary has heard of that school. Even how hard it is to get in." When she said it was full of male mages he was suprised."Well then I hope you'll be safe there. If you ever require a body guard just look for me. I'll protect you. Unlike others I won't ask for anything in return." Zeion said looking at her with a smile he reached it hand out to the water and touched the surface again.
He felt better with Tuy being there after all others girls and women have walked away where Tiy stayed. That fact alone made it worth the time here.

She liked this guy: not in a love sense, but in the way that while she sat there talking, he was listening. Maybe he was as interested in her story, as she was in his. He told her he knew how hard it was to get into those school and he congratulated her in a way. She smiled and then when he said he hoped she was safe there and that if she required a body guard, he would protect her. She laughed lightly and shook her head.
"I have graduated from there, my good sir. I am now a Professor, going on about five years of teaching," she smiled. "I am flattered by your offer of protection, but I am pretty good at physical and magical combat. So I am sure I will be fine." she chuckled to herself. "Not to mention Jez... who has probably trashed the house by now, that silly old wolf..."
She looked down at the water again, the moon's reflection in the water reflecting in her eyes. The water looked cool and she would very much like to go for a swim, but that would have to wait as she sat there with this new man, a mercenary: Zeion. There was something about him that she couldn't quiet put her finger on, but she looked up at him and locked eyes, as she did out of habit. "How long have you been here? And how long have you been a Mercenary?"

Zeion listened once he heard she graduated from that school he smiled kind of thankful that she wouldn't need protection. Oddly however he felt saddened hearing that. When she asked about him and the times he lived here and being a mercenary."Well I lived here since I was 13. I ran away from home is a better wording. A year after I came to Avaren I began work as an apprentice mercenary. I often worked with another mercenary his name Was John....I can't remember his last name. He taught me all I know now. So you could say 7 years as a mecenary." Zeion said he knew how hard it was being a mercenary and the only benefit was the amount of gold you get per contract.
When she mentioned the wolf Zeion just had to ask."Ok you have a wolf for a pet? Is it hard to take care of?"he asked after all a wolf can be wild when it wants, but in human hands who knows. Zeion knew that Tiy would possibly be asking for help from him from time to time.

Tiy listened to what he was saying and she smiled. Seven years wasn't all that long, but it looked like he was doing all right for just that long. Besides, she was sure that a strong-looking young man like him would be chosen for some of the more expensive jobs. She sighed lightly as her back began to stiffen and she laid down, her face turned towards him and her knees bent, feet flat on the rock below them. She smiled at him lightly. Smiling felt nice. She did it, but just not enough. She felt like this was okay, as if smiling was all right to do, like she had never believed before.
She heard him ask about Jez and she laughed. "Yeah... his kind of my attach puppy," she said smiling, "But he's a push-over for someone that will play catch with him for several hours. And Jez isn't all that hard to take care of: Give him a cow leg here and there and he'll be all right. And the more he's had to eat, the less vicious he is on someone coming towards me. But if he smells you on me, he'll let you be."
She realized that she was talking a lot. And it was mostly rambling that she was doing. She looked down at her hands as she gently laced her fingers together and smiled shyly. "I apologize... I seem to be talking a lot about nothing..." laughing nervously, she fell silent, a rosy color to her cheeks. 'Thanks the gods it's darker outside...' she thought.

Zeion looked at her name smiled and then said."It's ok. It's good to finally listen to someone other than the other than the words I hear from people in town." Zeion said the way people talked to him was just plain wrong they treat him like a criminal. The words were harsh but Zeion had a way with ignoring people. Tiy was not one of those pople cause she was treating him like a real person.
Zeion couldn't help but look at her. It seemed odd but listening to her. Zeion wanted to know why she was talking about the wolf after all he was intriged by the facts that she gave him. Tiy seemed to have a great life he wanted to know what it was like actually living in a home and not in the Inn or on the streets or in the hightest trees. Tiy must have a wonderful life."Jez actaully soulds like a good wolf. Who knows he might be asleep as well."
