Zeion was a little relived and walked up to the table and sat down. He began to talk."Well I started being a mercenary when I was 13. I've taking jobs that have me work for as an assassin or a true fighter for hire. But after my first mission I lost so much. I lost my family to an unkown sickness. Yet I am fine. I've taken odd contracts from being a bodyguard, to being a killer of bandits. Yet as of late I've met Tiy and well she's changed me. I love Tiy very much."Zeion said thought about what to say next. He wondered what her grandfather thought.
"Is it true that peaple called you a legendary mercenary at one time?" Zeion asked as he thought of Tiy and he felt his heart pound in his chest.. He truly loved her.

Tiy smiled lightly as she turned and readied some bread with butter and cheese. She sighed silently and listened still.
Grandpapa smiled lightly at him. "Thank you for loving my granddaughter so much. And I'm sorry about your loss..." he listened to Zeion's question and stood, looking out the window for a minute, before sighing. "At a time. Yes. Not something I'm particularly proud of, but it was something that people can learn from..." he turned and look at Zeion. "You must promise this old legend something..." he sat down and looked him strait in the eye, "Do not find your fame in murder. For the wear on your heart is great... and you loose what's most important to you... And young lad? Love is the greatest thing you could loose."

Zeion heard him speak and Zeion knew Love was the greatest thing. Zeion heard every rumor about the legendary mercenary. "I'll do better than that. I'll swear not to go on another mission again. After all the mssions as of late have been for assassins only. I'll make it a goal in life to ensure Tiy's happiness, and to protect her as well. I know these are the two things you'll be worried about most." Zeion said and then stared right back into his eyes showing he was serious about his word.
Zeion thought about it and then began to wonder what did Tiy really like? Her favorite things and places. He maybe in love with Tiy but he didn't know what she really loved. He wanted to ask but he never kept his eyes off the grandfather's."Well this is a nice store you have here."Zeion complimented he wanted to continue working on being on the man's good side.

Tiy was shocked at what her grandfather said, but her heart melted as Zeion spoke. She smiled and stood for a moment in silence and then went to the back room... The warm sunlight kissed her skin and her heart rose. Oh how great it was. What a wonderful day...
Grandpapa smiled at him and patted him on the shoulder. "You're a good man." he laughed a bit as Zeion commented his shop. "A lot of weapons from the olden days... Too much for me to like, but things seem to go at high prices when people start calling you a legend..." he smiled and then held up a finger indicating for Zeion to wait a moment. "I think you should have this." He stood and went behind the counter and pulled a long cloth package up and set it on the counter. He motioned Zeion over and unfolded the cloth to show him a dual-handed obsidian cleaver, about five feet long.
Tiy came to the front room, setting the cups on the table and walked over to give her a grandfather a kiss on the cheek. "I remember that one..." she chuckled and looked up at Zeion. "He tried to teach me to use this when I was about a quarter it's size..."

Zeion smiled when Tiy came in but te cleaver was huge he would have said it but he thought about something else."Let me see." Zeion said as he picked it up with a little trouble he got it over his shoulder."I'd use this on crestent moon nights. But seeing as I won't take missions. I'll place it back." He said as he put it back on the cloth. He looked to Tiy and smiled and kissed her cheek."I bet that was fun wasn't it?" Zeion asked Tiy.
Zeion knew the weight had to be at least 15 pounds of steel. Zeion had no magic other than his braclets and his hidden pendant. He didn't know what kind of moon was going to be out. He took a guess that they didn't know what he ment by the cresent moon comment. Zeion decided maybe it was time to revail what has kept him going for the last few months.

Tiy smiled at him and nodded as he kissed her cheek. "It was indeed! Nearly lopped off my dog's head!" she giggled lightly with a light blush and her grandfather laughed lightly too. But he had been silent since the crescent moon comment from Zeion. Tiy looked at him and tilted her head lightly. "Do explain the crescent moon, hun..."

Zeion sighed."Well I might as well show you how I've lived through every night mission." Zeion said and removed a circular pendent from his neck it held a very odd design with 4 oddly shaped stones one all white round stone, a stone with half withe half black, one all black, and one with a crescent shaped white and a oval shaped black."Each shape represents a phase of the moon. crescent increases my strength 3 fold. The new moon stone grants me invisibility, the half-moon some how sharpens my sword with a magic seal around it. the full moon grants me one of the other 3 effects. If this was a crescent moon night I'd lift the sword with only one hand and I'd have no problems doing anything with it." Zeion said and looked at how they would react with this in front of them.

Tiy looked at him and then studied her grandfather's face.. He was thinking. He didn't look shocked, but he did look like he was thinking pretty hard about something. He looked over at Zeion and then looked down at the sword. "Then this is your sword."
Her grandfather handed him the sword with the same pendant on the hilt, minus the four surrounding stones. "You are as I thought." he smiled. "The one I mentioned in all my stories...."
Tiy smiled and kissed Zeion excitedly. "With the crescent this man shall come, wielding strength beyond the moon. Met by legend from years become, and daughter shall fall so soon!"

Zeion held Tiy and kissed her back and parted. Was this fate, destiny, or an act of one of the many mythical peoples of history, and religion? Zeion took the sword and studied it on closer view."Did your stories say what the man would do with this mighty blade?" Zeion said and looked back at Tiy. "If it is fate that I take the sword then I shall and I'll protect the one I love and her family as well with this blade." Zeion said he would protect Tiy at any cost her family would be the same. Zeion looked to the blade then wondering what did fate have in mind.
"Tiy I love you." Zeion said and placed a kiss on her head. It was obvious Zeion loved Tiy this girl was the one he had spent all his years searching for.

Tiy was beaming a bright smile and looked over at Zeion. "He's a peace-maker. Balancing good and evil. That's what your symbol means! See how the black has a white dot and the white has a black dot? It represents that there is not evil," she pointed to the black, "Without good," she pointed to the white dot, "And no good," she pointed at the white, "Without evil!" she smiled. And then he kissed her and her grandpapa smiled at them.
"Well! Who said an old man can't tell a story!" he laughed and then kissed the both on the head. "Let me make us a dinner! You and Zeion go shop or whatever and be back before dusk!" he shooed them out, but Tiy left the sword with her grandfather. The people in the town did not need to feel threatened on such a glorious day, and now... she understood why people were in such a great mood. She smiled at Zeion and just stood at the step with him, holding his hand.

Zeion hald Tiy's hand outside the shop and he looked around."Let's go look around. We should at least find stuff that would be nice to have. I already know what I want to get you. But tell me Tiy what are your favorite things?"Zeion was feeling talkitive now for some odd reason after what had happened Zeion knew that he role was to be one that stikes down evil. Yet he had no need for mssions now. Tiy was all he wanted to be with for the time being.
Zeion leaned over and kissed Tiy's cheek again."Lets go love." Zeion said he was going to let her guide him to what she liked. Zeion called Tiy his new nickname for her. That is how he felt about her.

Tiy listened to him and began to walk with him at her side. She smiled at him. "My favorite things? Oh... I like to dance, music, I like stories! Oh! And books!" she laughed, "I'm a bit of a book freak... I almost read the entire library at my university..." she blushed lightly and then thought about it. "You know... I am not the kind of girl that drools over jewelery... I like robes and shalls..."
She stopped talking and thought about things for a moment. No man or woman that she had been with had ever stopped to ask her that... She looked over at Zeion and aimed to kiss him on the cheek, but a pothole in the ground made her kiss his neck and she laughed at herself. "Oh what a klutz!" She smiled at him and then saw an old man on the side of the street begging for money. She stopped and let go of his hand. She walked over to the man and looked at him.
"Spare some gold for an ol' warrior with a broken 'art?" he asked, holding out his tin cup. Tiy felt her heart sink and she shook her head and the man's eyes grew wide. She smiled at him.
"How about I give you a meal, a bath, and get you some new robes?" The man's eyes lit up but he shook his shaggy head.
"I could never take such an offer from you and your husband.." Tiy blushed and looked over her shoulder at Zeion and smiled shyly.
"He's not really my husband... but I insist on the offer, troubled warrior," she helped him up and then smiled at Zeion. "Hun... would you be a dear and help me?" She needed someone to help her walk with the old man.
"You're such a kind girl!" he looked at Zeion. "She's a keeper!" Tiy smiled again. "Oh! My hat!" the old man pointed to a rather old and tattered old straw hat on the ground. Tiy bent and picked it up and placed it on the man's head. "What god gave you the heart to help me, young lass?"
"Not a god. But the love I have for my grandfather, a legendary mercenary, and for the love I have for the man you see with me. And my mother always said: 'if you don't reach out, who will?' And I'm not going to let the chance slip to help you when you need it...."

Zeion assited Tiy with helping the old man. He smiled."I know she's a keper after all. She the only one who can open someone's heart." Zeio nsaid and began to walk with the old man and Tiy."I help out where I could in this town before." Zeion said as Tiy finished speaking."She is right. Even those religous people from the chaple won't help often enough." Zeion stated. He knew That the ones he spoke of were in their church praying for nothing.
"OK I admit that was wrong of me to say. But it's often true." Zeion said and the old man nodded in agreement. He then said."Yeah they passed me 3 times and ignored my pleas one day." Zeion knew what he ment."It's just the way they are I guess." Zeion said."So I think we could get you a great meal from Tiy's cooking." Zeion said even though he only had it twice he loved Tiy's meals.

Tiy nodded in agreement with the comment about the priests in their temple. Why were they so high and mighty that they could not simply help a man on his feet? She shook her head and then smiled at Zeion as he mentioned her cooking. "I will most certainly make you a meal!"
She looked around for Jez, but couldn't find her. She guessed that she was with grandpapa and was fine. They reached Tiy's house and she mutter s couple ancient words and the door opened for them and she walked them to the couch and sat the old man down. She waved her hand at the fire and it started boiling some water for the man's bath and then began to cook.

Zeion of course was also helping by making sure the water was being watched. He helped Tiy and kept his eye on the man. Zeion soon walked back to the man."So you were a worrior huh? Knight or what?" The man smiled."Backthen I was a calviray knight. I retired a long time ago but those days were the best of my life." The man said he was smiling and Zeion couldn't halp but smile back."My dad was a knight. He was an armored foot soilder" The man nodded.
"He must have been a great man." Zeion smiled and sighed."He was. He really was." The man just said."Oh....Sorry shouldn't have said anything." Zeion held his hand out."No it's ok. It's somethgin I don't talk about often." Zeion said he shook it off and smiled."I think the water is nearly done." Zeion said and walked to Tiy in the Kitchen.
