That's when the man decided to show Horu where he lived. Intrigued he followed and with doubt and excitement rising as he neard the blessed home of the great dragon it donned on him.
Once inside the palace-like cave he showed his true identity. This relation ship lasted nearly a decade before He was given an odd request, it seemed that one of the most evil dragons, a red dragon was on the mountain and searching for the village. The blood red fire drake was only a juvenile but if it wasn't stopped would decimate the village. It was up to Horu to gather a force and take out the dragon.
Horu did his best with out question and tried to speak to the holy warriors of the village, but he soon found himself in the position the gold dragon had put himself in to test the man. No one believed him and laughed, believing the the gold dragon would protect them if there was one. Horu, faithfully believed that there was a reason and seeing no alternative, he went and faced the Dragon himself.
his training withe the Gold dragon paid off greatly. Horu had defeated the dragon and as his sword peirced the hide of the dragon for the final time, The gold dragon appeared to him there. It was then that he learned about his destiny as Bahamut's envoy. Horu gladly accepted the offer greatly honored. After nearly a month on the mountain he was able to craft the scales of the red dragon into fine scales of platinum, a feat only occurring with a direct blessing from the platinum dragon, Bahamut, himself. It was thus that he donned his armor and started his quest to defend his gods name where ever it needs defending.
