I'd like it to be known that this is not my board nor am I staff. It is however, an amazing site and I'm having fun there. My characters are Gehran Fivetide and Chariadenine Zakalwe - feel free to PM me or the admin if you need anything - the staff are really good people.

Come check it out!
Eight years have passed since the Independents lost and still some have not forgotten. Some are grateful for the help civilization has brought to their worlds. Others resist, their worlds border on insurrection. The Alliance sees that no world succumbs to such a fate. Their fleet is vast and ready to squash out all who resist civilization.
Within the Core, one’s life is entirely mapped out before one takes their very first breath. Freedom is traded for safety and luxury. Many, particularly those on the Rim and Border worlds, those who fought against Unification, cannot accept this predestined life. Space offers freedom from the Alliance, a chance to strike out and live one’s life any which way. There are no guarantees, no safety nets to catch you if you make a bad decision and wind up penniless.
Some of these freedom seekers turn to smuggling. Regulated trade prevents supplies from reaching the rim where they are so desperately needed. Unification failed to bring peace to the furthest reaches of the galaxy. Cannibalistic Reavers terrorize the outermost worlds while the Alliance refuses to send aid.
Those who see the Alliance’s countless injustices might try and stand up but are quickly put down before they can disrupt galactic harmony. Marauders and bum chums tear holes but never do enough.
No one is really sure if the legends are true, whisperings of psychics walking among the common folk. Oh, the Alliance knows full well that psychics are a reality, conditioning them to be the perfect obedient assassins and spies. Extreme experimentation might push a subject to far every once in a while, drive them into madness or death, but rare as they are, psychics are still replaceable. There are a few conscientious minds within the Alliance that have banded together to form secret resistance groups. Rescuing a psychic from inhumane experimentation takes time, planning, and a lot of money.
Where everyone was working for this goal.
Where all the children left without a trace,
only to come back, as pure as gold,
To recite this all.
Life is never easy in the ‘verse. Are you able to handle it before you wind up ON THE DRIFT?
I wanna have the same last dream again,
the one where I wake up and I'm alive.
Just as the four walls close me within,
my eyes are opened up with pure sunlight.
the one where I wake up and I'm alive.
Just as the four walls close me within,
my eyes are opened up with pure sunlight.

I'm the first to know,
my dearest friends,
even if your hope has burned with time,
anything that's dead shall be re-grown,
and your vicious pain, your warning sign,
you will be fine.

Hey, oh, here I am,
and here we go, life's waiting to begin.
Any type of love - it will be shown,
like every single tree reach for the sky.
and here we go, life's waiting to begin.

like every single tree reach for the sky.

If you're gonna fall,
I'll let you know,
that I will pick you up
like you for I,
I felt this thing,
I can't replace.
I'll let you know,
that I will pick you up
like you for I,
I felt this thing,
I can't replace.
