I am a GUILDMASTER! WOOOO!!!!! now, we are all members of a family. we only need a meeting place... i was thinking that we could either chill in a remote part of the market, or we could find a hideout in the mountains or something... any suggestions?

How about the ruins of Aesir? Its remote and it really has no true use for other players... Or the Tavern ( i see the 'Tavern as a more Guild like set up ) or theres always the option of all of us pitching in a share of money to buy a house in the town to meet in..

I was thinking the ruins. They would be fun to explore and easy to hide in. excellent idea! i'm sure it'll be ok... and it is a pretty neutral place.

The ruins sound good. How are we statring out the guild anyway? Will it be as if the guild was already there and have the place already set up. Or might it be as is in being a new guild with all the hardships of getting things in order.
As in setting up I'm talking not only rooms and simple stuff like that, but what about guards, or other staff. With out some kind of organization it would be nothing more than a hide out for a bunch of thieves and mercenaries and not really a guild. And if there is a place where a bunch of assasins hang out with out proper defense or at least some way to not draw attention to itself, the people who see this guild's member's as 'bad guys' would very quickly have something done about it.
I have two suggestions.
1. If this is to be a pre-established guild, we can assume that there are NPC scouts and/or guards posted about to prevent something bad from happening.
2. If its a new guild kepp an extremely low profile, make it seem as nothing exists in the ruins until we get a nice member base, say at least 10 members or more. and then we can say that there is like an NPC guild member to every PC guild member. this is an example, but you should be able to get what I mean.
IC: "Last thing we need a goody, goody, sticking their nose where it doesn't belong and spoiling our... assignments, before they start."

sounds good... we need to work out a mission system. FOR NOW<, IF YOU WANT TO GO ON A MISSION, SEND ME A PM WITH THE JOB DESCRIPTION AND TELL ME WHO YOU WANT TO ACCOMPANY YOU (trust me, it is easier to work in pairs, it's easier to rp) IF YOU WANT TO GO ALONE, THAT IS OK, DEPENDING ON THE MISSION 'DIFFICULTY'. we also need to work out a rewards system I am thinking that with the mission description you should include a reward, whether it is an amount of gold, or an enchanted weapon/item. this will also be up for review, and if you want a better chance of getting what you want, make it realistic and closer to the level of 'difficulty' your mission is.
-include with the reward description how you want to find it or if you want to recieve it upon your return or whatever. you may 'randomly' find magical things or supplies on your kills and during your assignments.
use your imagination!

I think we should start from scratch...adds more epicness and fun to do...there is more to do if we start from scratch...like furnature arrangements...and my room...enough being a fool...there is more to RP about if we have nothing to go off of...maybe have some missions be "gathering" furnature and such

mostly we just have to have our guild leader (Shadow :3) form a post giving us orders to follow, then once we have a main base built there can be missions for the lower class/lazy MOFUGGIN DINAHSO'S x3. and i agree, we should start from base one, makes it feel like we've worked for what we ge ti nthe end, be it good or bad we can say " hey, we did our work, we did what we were supposed to do, no shame and all glory!"and also to make things simpler, we should come up with a set of names to use as Targets and such to start off with, then after they are all DEAD! then we can start coming up with our own on each mission, you know just to help the creativity alittle bit

ooc: I just came up with my own situation of having no guards.
IC: took him long enought. *roles eyes*
OOC: Thanatos is a Necromancer, just consider all undead within half a mile of the ruins as friendly. XD
Thanatos lays claim to providing the guild with NPC guards.
