A Birthday Gone Wrong

Midna was setting up her place for her party. She couldn't wait, today was the day she would finally be able to meet new people. She had asked people to come and also asked them to invite their friends. She was so excited she almost knocked over a vase of red roses and white carnations.

Midna sat in her favourite chair and decided to read a book while she waited for the time to come for her party. The book she icked up was one that her mother had given her before she had left this world. She began to read and as she read she became less and less aware of the place she was, she began to feel like she was right in the book, with all of her favourite people.

Tiy had heard and received an invite to Midna's party. It was some house-warming party, Tiy guessed. But she was happy that she would be able to attend. Midna and her had met at the Lakeside in the twilight of the night. She smiled as she slipped on a green dress that went to her knees and covered her shoulders. She wanted to look nice, but not over-do it. She had mentioned it to Zeion and would wait for him at the party. She was just down the street after all.

Heading out, Jez tagged along, agreeing to not knaw on people's legs. She smiled as Jez sniffed about and Tiy came to the door. She knocked three times and waited for Midna to answer as Jez sat along side her, wagging her tail.
