Kina leaped up onto the roof of a building and twirling a grappling hook.

The man asking for gold for his services was nio knight in Horu's eyes and the response Marius brought to his ears caught Horu off guard. in fact his enchanted prayer had faltered. Horu had to remind himself that the dragon was a more important matter than beating the valorless warrior to a pulp. Horu ignored it however and was about to continue his enchantment when the Dragon finally fled.
But it didn't fly away before firing another blast of fire at them. He watched the glowing or of fire racing toward them. He knew what he had to do. He focused on the calm center with in himself letting the his energy build in his chest and then he rushed forward. He pulled the helmet off his head and released the energy opening his mouth releasing his own inferno. It was only a short burst but he had timed it. The dragon fires met, and BOOM the air shook with the energy as the two flames canceled each other out.
Specks of color floated in his vision after being exposed to the light of the explosion, and the taste of sulfur filled his mouth. And his face felt like he had just looked into the heart of a blast furnace. He bent forward supporting his upper body with his hand on his knees. Bahamat had blessed him with dragon breath but using in in such a manner was taxing on his human body. Normally he could only shoot a tongue of flame at a max of about 10 feet in front of him. The Red dragon however didn't have those limits and so Horu had to giver all that he could to stop everyone from being turned into sooty smears in a crater.
He turned a glare at the knight, and then turned to the Mage and every one else, "Is everyone alright?" He asked panting. He now realized that his mouth was dry. He walked over to his mount and untied the water skin from the saddle.

Dante stood against a lone tree upon a hill, having watched the struggle for the boring little village below her. She didn't really understand why she perceived it as boring, but the concept of working for nothing didn't appeal to her. Her red brown hair blew in the soft breeze, her hood pulled down behind her. She had no reason to hide herself just yet. The red dragon whom had been terrorizing the village had come off as amusing to her. The dragon chose a little brat as a minion. Someone easy to manipulate.
Of course, that was merely her opinion of the situation. Dante hadn't helped herself in any manner at this point just standing there. If the dragon had been trapped at some point, it certainly made her seem to be the one who set him free. Dante tilted her head back to look through the branches of the tree at the sky. A little cloudy, but nothing insinuating ultimate doom. She brushed off the front of her skirt. It was still covered in the purple explosion powder she had been using earlier.
Dante sighed and crossed her arms under the ground length cloak. The shock wave that had erupted not minutes before had blown some of the leaves off her tree. With a heavy sigh, her turquoise eyes looked around briefly before she picked up the staff sitting beside her. It's massive head loomed over everything, even when the thing was covered in brown leaves and looked dead.
Dante pulled her hood over her head and began to move down to the now mostly destroyed village. She received not a look as she walked through town, her staff in hand. Internally she chuckled at the sight of smoldering buildings. She did not wish harm to anyone, but found that from the ashes always rises a larger establishment. Dante kept to herself, making her way through the village to gawk at the ruins silently. Just as her demeanor was silent, her movements and breathing were very much the same.

Fredrick had been about to speak to the paladin that had assisted in the warding of the dragon, when he felt something. It wasn't a sense of evil, or an aura of divine good, but arcane. He could feel something arcane behind him, moving about. It wasn't that he was worried. There was no accompanying evil or malice. Simply the fact that he had felt a new arcanist there was enough to cause him distraction.
Surely enough, however, he returned to his senses, and replied to the paladin, "Surely we are all right, now. The dragon has left, but that does not mean that he will not return. You seem to be familiar with dragons of such build. We of Avaren would be glad to have you here, in our company."
He then turned to make sure the queen was alright. There was charcoal surrounding them on all sides, save a small cone of still-uncovered ground around the queen. Even Fredrick, himself, had clothing that was no longer pink, but some shade of black. His face was covered in soot, but at the least, the queen looked fine. It would not be good for a kingdom to lose its queen like this.
Only the queen and those guards lucky enough to be standing close enough to her were not covered in black dust. Fredrick had chosen to strengthen his barrier over the queen, rather than over himself. He was tough enough, despite his looks, to withstand a blow from a dragon. Unfortunately, however, his FABULOUS clothes were now dirty.
Soon enough, however, he turned to see a girl eying the buildings around that lay in ashes. He knew instinctively that this was the source of acane power that he had felt. "Can I help you, young one? You seem to be lost." For, indeed, in Freddy's mind, the girl only looked lost, and not much else...

Horu listened to the mage's comments and nodded affirmatively. Ne did indeed know about such beasts, and had fought one. In fact he was wearing it's hide as armor at the moment. The dragon that had just attacked the town was twice as large as the one that wore his armor before him. That meant it was stronger and probably smarter. There was no doubt that this dragon would be more dangerous.
"Indeed I do know of such beasts. Mine order worships the ones that are friendly toward man kind. I will proudly aid any one willing to accept it." On that not he looked around and walked down among some of the people that had be fortunate enough to make it close to their company. "I will start by helping healing those that where injured here today." He said loud enough so that people could hear him. and he started healing what wounds he could with his divine power.
