The trio are in their fifth year at Hogwarts.
The students are taking over the school, and there's chaos. They start rebeling in classes, causing the staff an awful lot of trouble. Detentions are given out, but the students pay no attention; they own the school now.

Soon after, we find out that there are death eaters in the school. Threats are made, and Hogwarts is no longer safe. The students suddenly come into order out of fear, and the staff are as confused as ever. While the staff have meetings, discussing ideas on what they should do, they are done with the knowledge that the people responsible are still in the room. None of the staff feel safe, and despite the way the students treated them in the past, they are still determined to keep them safe. Meanwhile, the students have their own idea.
Happy Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley start up a team, aimed at finding the death eaters in the school, exclusive to all Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw students who they know can be trusted. It's a race against time.
And so the hunt begins.
