In a world much like our own, called by the name Antaris, two Kingdoms existed.
Tearden and Rasheara.
Tearden was always the peaceful kingdom. They wanted no war, no fighting, no crime. They had a strong legal system, and two very right-minded rulers. The King and Queen were fair, and kept things in order. The streets were clean, the people kind, and even the poor lived comfortably.
Rasheara was the opposite. Corrupted, evil, war-loving. The people all seemed to have committed one kind of crime or another. The King ruled without a Queen, and he ruled ruthlessly. They held no trials. He sentenced those he didn't like to years in prison, or even death. The nobles were the only ones treated anything near fair, and even they had to watch their step. Slavery was a part of this Kingdom.
There was a stretch of land inbetween these two worlds. Though it was not very large. The King of Rasheara was power-hungry. He wanted more land, more people, more slaves. So he took over this piece of land between Rasheara and Tearden. But he didn't stop there. He built upon this land, and moved on.
A war broke out, and in the end, Rasheara was the victor. The people of Tearden were enslaved, and those already slaves to the nobles of Rasheara, remained so. People of all races. Demons, vampires, angels, and more. Especially humans.
