Few people could stand up to the charms of Moresina's followers.
So, Morrigan was really pleased when Horu moved closer, and more pleased when she felt something in her lap. She looked down. A dagger? He was giving her a gift? He wanted to protect her. The realization burst through. Oh. Well, that made things different, didn't it? She was undecided about how to react, when she felt him caress the side of her leg.
The simple touch made her feel better. He only wanted to protect her out of his duty as a knight, or perhaps as anyone would protect something beautiful. There was no cause for alarm. She nuzzeled closer to him, even with his armor on. "Thank you," she whispered up at him.

Some how his want to protect felt like more than just because it was his duty. But He was definatly going to use that as an excuse to make himself feel a little better. He felt her nuzzling against him. and something about it told him she appreciated the gift. He smiled, he was sort of sorry that he was till wearing al this armor, he was wearing some simple clothing under neath but he didn't trust every one in the tavern or the town enough to take such valuable equipment off.
He relaxed she seemed to apreciate his touch and concern, and he appreciated her show of affection, but he wondered, if she was only doing it out of duty. She worshiped a goddess of Lust. Maybe she was only doing this to invoke that desire to please her god by making him happy.
He couldn't tell if she was sincere in the way she was acting but he played like she was and temped fate. He draped an arm protectively around her shoulder, allowing her to be closer to him. Whether the moment was staged for him or not he decided that it was best just to enjoy the moment.

Ah, now, this was the way things were supposed to go. Morrigan felt comforted by Horu's presence. She took his hand in hers and kissed it lightly. "C'mon, Horu. Let's take this up to my room, okay?"

Horu smiled he guessed it was getting late. He took comfort in the fact that she offered maybe that meant she actually liked him. He half wondered if he really liked her. Maybe it was just dormant lust being brought out by her forwardness, he was a man after all and was vulnerable to such things. "Yes, we can take this upstairs." He said. Then he grabed a Platinum coin from his pouch it would probably provide a months woth of room and board at one of their better rooms so now they would have some where nice to stay while they where in town. and now they could go upstairs and get comfortable.
