Zero put up his bowstring to the side of is face. He let go. Swwitump! The arrow flew through the air quickly, and hit the bull's eye mark at the archery target made of straw. Zero calmly lowered his bow a fixed another swan fletched arrow into place from his quiver hung at the side of his belt.
He raised his bow for another shot. Swwitump. Another bull's eye. Zero lowered his bow again. He kept doing that as practice, to make sure his aim is perfect, but he felt that it wasn't. Could he hit moving targets? He had practiced from running horses to small rabbits, and then birds in the sky. It was fine.
Zero raised his bow again and took aim.

"Bravo. Bravo. That vas some beautiful shooting, mein friend." Ares smiled happily. He was bored. And him being bored meant one thing. He was going to kill something. Preferably an elf, but the only one he had seen recently was quite well guarded. Irritating, really. Oh, well. It seems that this archer would have to do. He reached into his coat and pulled out a handful of needles, and a few vials of green and crimson liquids. He smiled insanely once more, and asked, "Now I've seen you shoot, but how vell can you dodge? I think that might be a better test for mein new friend!" With that, he threw a handful of needles with one hand, while throwing the vials of liquid with the other...

Sarathai wasn't exactly certain why he found himself walking around within the training grounds of the warriors of Avaren. After all, neither of his two favored weapons, his mace and his faith, required much in the way of martial training. Perhaps it was the will of his god that caused him to conveniently be in just the right place at just the right time.
Drawing his mace in one hand and the other clutching his holy symbol in the other in preparation for the fight that had seemingly popped out of nowhere, he turned his focus inward to calling upon divine powers to aid him in halting this seemingly unprovoked attack.
His prayer answered by his god, his holy symbol shone brightly for a moment before a bolt of divine energy lanced forth. Aimed not at the drow, but at the vials he had thrown, the lance of faith struck one of the vials of crimson liquid, which surprisingly exploded in the middle of the three combatants, taking out the rest of the vials in the process and spreading their contents…(I assume this would cause a small chain of explosions and a splattering of acid. ^_^)

Zero turned around slowly, his amethyst eyes letting no emotion out. He watched the man as he released the needles and vials at him. But Zero did not move from his spot, still silently watching as the dangerous load flew towards him... Then a streak out light lanced past his face. Explosion. Boom. Boom boom. Even the needles flew out of their flying path and landed harmlessly on the other side of Zero. Zero's silver hair settled down as the wind died, along with the explosions.
Zero looked towards the Cleric. "Many thanks." Zero bowed politely to the Cleric, though not smiling. It wasn't in his nature to smile. Then he walked towards that villian standing there and put a finger under his chin, lifting his head up. "Sorry, my friends' list have no more space as the last one was filled up by that gentleman over there."

"Don't vorry yourself, I am merely looking for a fight, mein friend." A few of the needles had flown back at Ares, and bounced off of his invisible cloak. Certainly, he was not going to be able to adequately fight both. At least, not without a little help. He pulled his cloak off, and wrapped it around his head, tieing it securely. He pulled yet another vial, this one seemingly empty, from his visible cloak, and several more in kind. He launched them without hesitation at the man before him, as well as the man who had stopped his earlier attack, jumping backwards in a rather overblown fashion, cackling loudly...

"Unnh! You dirty-" Zero stepped backwards, and leapt side to side, avoiding the vials, but he was abit too late. One of them smashed against his left arm as he raised it to protect his face. Zero, without hesitation, grabbed an arrow from his quiver and fired. The single arrow lanced through the air and smashed the vials that were flying towards the Cleric. "Thats for saving me just now." Zero said, then he looked back at the villian.
"You dirty freak... get out of here! Or I'll shoot you!" Zero raised his bow, aimed at that man with an arrow already fixed in place.

Though the vials aimed at him were smashed, Sarathai took a few tentative steps backwards, not trusting that they were quite as empty as they looked, especially after the rather explosive demonstration he had just been treated to.
Clutching his holy symbol still, he focused the power of his god again, yet not as a direct attack. At his command, the archer's weapon began to glow slightly with a pure white light, while the tip of the arrow he had knocked burst into holy fire. For a short while, his weapon was imbued with holy power.

Ares smiled oddly. The man had done exactly what Ares had wanted him to do. It was only a matter of time. The vials shattered nigh harmlessly, a few glass shards embedded in Zero's arm and the ground before Sarathai. It would seem as if nothing was in them, but Ares knew better. As soon as either man breathed the gas inside, they would immediately notice the effects. The vials were filled with rather concentrated nitrous oxide. It was a funny little gas. No one could see it well, and it disoriented those who inhaled it. It also caused feelings of euphoria. A perfect weapon in battle.
Ares pulled more red vials out of his visible cloak and threw them in a rather wide pattern. He was greatly enjoying his rather overblown fireworks, but this batch was special. A rather nasty trick he was playing, but he didn't care very much for others' opinions of his actions...

Zero did feel tad bit funny. Zero blinked slightly as he felt the urge to laugh. But he NEVER laughs! Now he was having mad muscle twitches. Zero let lose of the glowing arrow. Thanks to that spell, the arrow seemed to have a life of its own, travelling its own course towards the villian's shoulder. Zero stepped backwards and held on to a tree. He felt strangely happy and... drunk. But he haven't touch nay a drop!

Catching the archer start to act funny and grasp onto a tree out of his peripheral vision, Sarathai was glad he had stepped back from the shattered vials and not taken them head on, like that man had. Whatever was in them seemed to be disorienting, yet not overtly deadly. No emergency care seemed to be needed.
Deciding it would be best to attempt to ward himself from any negative effects of the man's poisons, he released his holy symbol in favor of grasping the edge of his cloak to hold in front of his own face, still gripping his mace in the other.
When the man hocked another wave of vials- some the same color as the first wave, Sarathai judged it best not to keep aiming solely for stopping the man's attacks, to try and press him to the defensive. Noting the projectiles flying in a wide pattern, Sarathai sidestepped out of the direct path of the one flying closest to him and charged in with his mace, swinging somewhat wildly in an attempt to down this man quickly.

Zero crouched down, holding his arm. The lacerations from the glass shards are starting to hemorrhage. (xD HOLY HOPPING HARPIES BATMAN "The cuts from the glass shards are starting to bleed.") Zero stared at the blood pooling around the wound, and he plucked out the glass in his daze as the Cleric charged towards the villian. Then Zero eyes glowed red as the smell of the blood got to him. Zero brought his arm up and licked it. His hazed mind slowly cleared to give way to its Vampiric nature. Fangs. Blood red eyes.
Zero stood up, his bow on the ground. He stepped forwards, past the Cleric and held up his already healed arm in front of him. "Enough. Cleric, step back... save your holy attacks... you might hit me too." Zero closed his eyes, as if trying to keep his cool. He hated that guy's guts. "I am a little hungry..." Zero opened his blood red eyes. The vials shattered in the air and vanished. "Feed me."
Zero stepped towards that villian. "I wonder how foul blood taste like? Must be real bitter."

Ares smiled as the vials exploded, sending needles flying backwards toward Ares, and thus the two men, as they did so. "I would keep an eye on your back, mein friends. Weapons are not always exactly what they seem." He moved back, quickly untieing his invisible cloak. After all, the gas was gone. He pulled several more needles out, and one more vial. He smiled at it, and quickly dipped his needles in what appeared to be mere water, before throwing them, along with the vial of water at Zero, followed by a single, well-placed needle. As the vial neared Zero, it was hit by the needle, shattering and sending the water still flying, more or less, at Zero.
"I might remind you that ANYTHING can be found on the black market..."

Zero glared and the water evaporated. He hissed, bending close to Ares' neck. "Don't underestimate a pureblood, my dear sir." Zero breathed on Ares' neck, then he let go of him. Zero's blood red eyes were fixed onto Ares' cold ones, and Zero bared his fangs in annoyance. "Before I make a blood fountain out of you, you should scram. And seeing you as someone so knowledgeble about anesthetics and full of vials and needles... might you be a doctor, not?" Zero asked out of curiousity.
Why would a doctor do such things? Did he learn medicine just to use it against others?

Ebony skin, red eyes, silver hair...... drow. Evil.
Fangs, ranting about blood.....vampire? Evil.
Well, even if the drow had been the aggressor initially, there was still the fact that both drow and vampires were considered almost universally evil. As such, it might actually be better to let the two finish one another off, right? Though, it would also be doing the will of his god to try and dispose of the both of them while he had this chance.
Fortunately, both drow and vampiric monsters shared a similar weakness. Tightly gripping his holy symbol, he muttered a few words of prayer to his god before holding his symbol before him. A moment later it seemingly exploded in his hands in a radiant burst of pure daylight, with the symbol and Sarathai at it's center, very much like a small sun.

Ares was caught by surprise, as he had near forgot that the priest had even been there. As Ares's needles stabbed the vampire all over, for indeed he didn't seem to have moved, let alone tried to dodge them, a bright light tore into his sight. "AHH!" He screamed as the light overwhelmed his senses, and he quickly began groping around his cloak, frantically searching for something. He found it. It was one of the two bottles he had labeled this way, just in case. After all, he could just as easily damage his own eyes, and a drow, more than anyone else, was aware of his own weakness.
He forced open one eye at a time, slapping medicine in each. The medicine had a nasty trade off, but it was worth it in these situations. It seemed that he would have to rethink his plan for the priest, but the... vampire... was in more trouble than he knew. As the front group of needles pierced him, his skin began to burn away slightly. Ares knew where to buy holy water, after all. He smiled at the vampire as he jumped back and away from the fight. He wasn't about to stay here, what with bright lights all over and everything. He decided to leave one more parting gift before making his way from the area. He threw several more vials of holy water at the vampire, and teased, "Vell, I hope you enjoy your new friend. Auf Wiedersehen."
