Beggers Begging

[Færys Tiranas]

A young girl sat in front of the magic academy, a small, chipped plate in front of her, and a rather ornate flute placed against her lips. Her hair, long, and an odd shade of light blue, she looked rather hungry. Her flute let forth a kind and gentle melody, flooding the air with sweetness indescribable. As she finished, there had drawn a small crowd around her, some clapping, some merely smiling. She stood to take a bow, or rather tried. As soon as she had stood to her full height, her legs buckled underneath her. A few of the people quickly moved forward to see if she was alright, but soon enough, they were answered with the cause of her collapse, as a loud rumbling sound was the next "music" to hit their ears. After slowly pushing herself upright, she pushed the plate forward.

By this time most of the crowd had dispersed, and most of the rest were laughing heavily. Those that were still there and not laughing placed a few coins on the plate, which she hastily thanked them for. She smiled kindly. After all, this would get her her first meal in about two weeks. She began to fantasize about the food she would be eating. This might even buy her a whole loaf of bread! Maybe she could buy some meat, too! She felt rich as she counted out her 5 gold pieces...

Napeir sat on the roof above the wondrous music that played from below him, he found it soothing to his ears. He had very good hearing and found few things worth hearing but this just struck a good side of him in a good way. If he had been in his cat form he would have been purring right along with her music. As the music came to an end he glanced down at the girl for a third time, she was a begger, one who has no money or people to look after them. He watched as the crowds dispersed and went away, leaving a small among of money in her collection tin. He counted with her 5 gold pieces. That was only enough for a few days worth of food, slowly he reached into his pocket digging for his money pouch. Poping it out he counted quickly the total amount he had, since he had been on a vacation of some sorts he really didn't spend much of his collected money, he had actually gain some during his trip. Readying him self he launched himself off of the roof, landing neatly in front of her after dropping nearly 3 stories down. opening his hand above her collection tin he dropped 25 gold pieces into her tin.
"You have alot of talent, I've watched you play the last few days" he said, giving her a light smile.

Fæ looked at the man before her. How much had he put on her plate? It was certainly a lot. She knew that number, but then she hadn't used such a large number in a long time. Certainly, however, she knew it was five fives. Twenty-five. She normally only dealt with numbers that she could count on her hands, and so this was a surprise. Was this man rich? She couldn't ignore the fact that he had given her so much. She looked first at the gold, then at the man.

"Umm... Thank you... Mr... Erm... My name is Færys Tiranas. I am pleased to make your acquaintance. What is your name, good sir? I humbly thank you for your generous gift."

At first, her manner of speech was hesitant, but slowly her speech had shifted toward the elegant manners that she had been brought up using. Certainly, they were not those of a beggar. But, it stood still that Fæ was no longer more than a beggar, playing music on the streets for pocket change. As she searched for her purse, she remembered that it had been lost in the fall of Aesir, along with most of her possessions. She searched for a pocket that had not grown holey, and finding it, placed the gold inside.

She stood as best she could, as curtsied to Napeir, though she did not wear a dress...

[Napeir]

Napeir returned her curtsie with a small bow. He wasn't one too use manners often but he was a gentleman of sorts, and he surely not rude.
"My name is Napeir" he told her, lifting himself back into an upright position "and it is a pleasure too meet you as well"
While she was standing he looked her up and down, this was his first time actualy near her since he started hanging around too hear her music. From what he could tell she was not in proper health, it almost seemed impossible for her body to support her in its condition. Thinking about how she looked compared too him actualy made him think, it actualy wasn't too long ago that he had been in her position. Having too fight to survive. He wore a tacky tan leather cloak, some neatly fitted cotton pants, and a pair of wooden sandels. Slowly he moved over beside her.
"Do you mind if I sit here and listion to your music" he asked, his ears slowly morphing into cat ears sitting upon his head.

sia heard a flute so she went over thir and saw a girl with one and a guy so she hid in the ally that was close she did not want some one to see her. she looked at the girl and smiles. "she needs new cloths" she said forgetting she was hiding from them.

[Napeir]

Napeir had heard someone nearby, not just someone in the crowd, he was being watched. Keeping his focus on Færys not to draw any notice of him searching for his target, he slowly scanned around with his ears to find then watcher. For all he knew she could just be enjoying the music, or maybe she was interested in Færys money she had just acquired. A voice caught his attention, it had to be the watcher, for she made a comment on Færys cloths. His eyes shot over toward the girl, his eyes making contact with hers. Slowly he got up.
"I'll be right back" he said quickly, and walked toward the ally that the girl was hiding in.
"Might I help you" he asked in a low tone, but still loud enough to be understood.

sia looked at him and blushed "umm no just passing by" sia said shyly

Glancing at her again he returned to Færy. Sitting down he looked at Færy. He had once been there, he wanted to help her. Yet he knew not where to start, he found a way to help himself but didn't know how to help others fix the same problem.
"Your attitude, the way you react to answers" he said slowly " You weren't meant for this life, were you"
He wanted to learn how to help her, but to start helping he must learn about what needs to be helped.

[Kina]

Kina had trailed out through the alley, trying to make his way into the street. As he stared above him, trying to predict the weather, and he almost tripped over someone crouching into the alley entrance.
"Whoa!" he stumbled, before grabbing a brick sticking out misfittedly on the wall and keeping his balance. His head was almost a meter to the ground.

"oh i am soo sorry" sia said looking at the boy who tripped over her. Sias fangs where showing. "are you ok" sia looked woried

[Kina]

Kina sighed and picked himself up.
"Yeah.. this sort of stuff happens.." He brushed himself off. "We're really out of it, eh?" Kina laughed.

[sia lee]

sia smiled at him and blushed

[Kina]

"So, what are you hiding from?" Kina said, before noticing that he should probably crouch as well. The more inconspicous, the better.

[sia lee]

"umm well them" she pointed to the two people. sia looked at him and blushed and was thinking that hes cute.
